DistriGoal is the music distribution service of D-Go Media.

  • Audio files;
  • Track titles;
  • Release title;
  • Artist name and any featured artists;
  • Songwriter and composer information;
  • Music genre;
  • Cover artwork;
  • Artist photo;
  • Release date;
  • Copyright information;
  • Rights-holder information;
  • Release identifiers, where they exist;
  • Other metadata required for distribution.

2.3. Rights Documentation

DistriGoal may request certain documents or information to verify that you have the rights and authorizations required to distribute a work.

These documents may include contracts, authorizations, or agreements between the artist and D-Go Media or between persons involved in the release.

This information is used to verify and manage the rights required to distribute works.

2.4. Payment Information

For payments made on DistriGoal, we currently use Wave and Orange Money as payment methods.

We may process information necessary to:

  • Identify your payment;
  • Confirm a transaction;
  • Associate the payment with your account or order;
  • Manage your subscription;
  • Verify your payment status;
  • Retain information required for our administrative and accounting obligations.

Payment information may be processed directly by the relevant payment provider in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.

DistriGoal does not necessarily require complete payment-method information to be provided directly to DistriGoal.

New payment methods may be added in the future. When a new provider is integrated into the service, this Policy may be updated where necessary.

DistriGoal may also use technical or professional service providers required to operate the service, including for hosting, storage, payment processing, authentication, security, and support.

5. Revenue and Royalties

DistriGoal may process information relating to revenue generated by works distributed through the service.

  • Display available revenue in your dashboard;
  • Present the performance of your releases;
  • Manage withdrawal requests;

  • Produce reports and statistics relating to your releases;

Artists retain 100% of their music royalties, subject to applicable withdrawal or handling fees for the service.

6. Communications With Artists

We may use the contact details you provide to contact you when necessary for the operation of your account or releases.

  • Missing information in a submission;
  • An issue relating to a release;
  • A request for documentation or verification;
  • Information concerning your payment;
  • A support request;
  • Important information concerning the operation of DistriGoal.

When you provide a WhatsApp number, it may be used to facilitate communications relating to your account and submissions.

7. Data Security

DistriGoal implements reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data aearningst:

  • Unauthorized access;

  • Unauthorized modification;
  • Unauthorized disclosure;
  • Destruction;

Access to account data, distribution information, and documents provided by artists is limited to persons or service providers who need that information to operate the service.

However, no computer system or online service can guarantee absolute security.

We also recommend that users protect their login credentials and never share their password with a third party.

Certain information relating to releases, payments, rights, transactions, or communications may be retained after an account is closed where retention is necessary for administrative, accounting, contractual, legal, or evidentiary purposes.
