DistriGoal Terms and Conditions

Welcome to DistriGoal, D-Go Media's music distribution service.
By creating an account, subscribing to a DistriGoal plan, or submitting music for distribution, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the service.
1. The DistriGoal Service
DistriGoal provides music distribution services that allow artists to submit their music for distribution to digital streaming platforms and other music services.
By submitting music to DistriGoal, you authorize D-Go Media, through DistriGoal, to distribute, deliver, manage, and administer the submitted music and its associated metadata through the digital platforms and distribution partners used by DistriGoal.
This authorization applies for the duration of your active distribution service and during any applicable period in which your release remains distributed through DistriGoal.
2. Your Rights and Responsibilities
You confirm that you own all necessary rights, or have obtained all necessary authorizations, to distribute the music you submit.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information, files, artwork, metadata, and documents provided to DistriGoal are accurate and comply with applicable law.
You must not submit music that infringes the rights of another person or entity.
DistriGoal may request supporting documents or additional information when necessary to verify ownership, authorization, or eligibility for distribution.
3. Original and Legitimate Music
You agree to upload only music and content that you are legally authorized to distribute.
You must not submit:
- Music that you do not own or are not authorized to distribute;
- Unauthorized copies, stolen content, or protected works belonging to third parties;
- Fake, misleading, or fraudulent releases;
- Artificial streams or any other form of fraudulent activity;
- Music or metadata intended to manipulate charts, streaming statistics, or platform systems;
- Content submitted under false identities or with misleading information.
DistriGoal may take appropriate action when content or activity is identified as being contrary to these requirements.
4. Streaming and Platform Integrity
Artists must not purchase streams or use bots, automated systems, click farms, or other methods intended to artificially increase streams, followers, downloads, or other performance indicators.
When suspicious or fraudulent activity is identified or reported, DistriGoal may investigate the account or release and take appropriate action, including withholding affected revenue, removing content, suspending the account, or permanently restricting access to the service.
Where necessary, DistriGoal may also cooperate with the relevant distribution partners or digital platforms regarding such activity.
5. Account Suspension or Termination
DistriGoal reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate an account, or remove a release, where there are reasonable grounds to believe that:
- These Terms and Conditions have been violated;
- The submitted content is unauthorized or fraudulent;
- False or misleading information has been provided;
- Artificial streaming activity or other manipulation has occurred;
- A third-party rights claim or platform-related issue requires intervention;
- The account or content presents a legal, financial, security, or reputational risk to DistriGoal or its partners.
In cases of serious or fraudulent activity, an account may be permanently banned and associated revenue may be withheld or forfeited where permitted by applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
6. Subscription and Royalties
DistriGoal operates using subscription-based distribution plans. The applicable subscription, price, release limits, and duration are displayed when you select your plan.
For the duration of your applicable active subscription, artists are entitled to 100% of their music royalties, subject to applicable withdrawal or handling fees.
Artists are advised to renew their subscription before it expires in order to keep their releases online and continue receiving 100% of their music royalties.
If a release remains distributed after the applicable subscription expires, the artist will be entitled to 60% of the royalties generated by that release during the period in which the subscription is inactive.
Renewing the applicable subscription restores the standard entitlement to 100% of royalties.
7. Payments
Payments for DistriGoal services may currently be made using the payment methods available on the website, including Wave and Orange Money.
A subscription or service is activated only after DistriGoal has successfully confirmed the corresponding payment.
DistriGoal may update or add new payment methods in the future.
8. Distribution, Takedown and Transfer
DistriGoal will make reasonable efforts to process distribution and release requests within the applicable processing times communicated through the service.
Once music has been distributed through DistriGoal, any request to transfer or move a release away from DistriGoal, or any request requiring a release to be taken down from distribution, requires a minimum processing period of three (3) months.
This period is necessary to allow DistriGoal and the relevant distribution partners or platforms to process takedowns, updates, and associated administrative requirements.
The three-month period begins on the date a valid request is received and may be affected by platform processing times or circumstances outside DistriGoal's direct control.
9. Release Review
All submissions may be reviewed before distribution.
DistriGoal may reject, delay, request additional information for, or refuse to distribute a release when its content, metadata, artwork, documents, or rights information do not meet the requirements of DistriGoal or its distribution partners.
Approval of a release does not guarantee that every digital platform will accept or continue to make that release available.
10. Changes to the Service
DistriGoal may update its services, distribution partners, pricing, plans, or operating procedures when necessary.
When a significant change affects an existing subscription or service, reasonable advance notice may be provided where appropriate.
11. Acceptance of These Terms and Conditions
By creating a DistriGoal account, subscribing to a plan, or submitting music for distribution, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions;
- You have the necessary rights and authorizations to distribute the music you submit;
- The information and materials you provide are accurate;
- You authorize DistriGoal and D-Go Media to distribute and manage the music you submit in accordance with these Terms;
- You agree to comply with DistriGoal's requirements and those of the digital platforms to which your music is distributed.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not create an account, subscribe to a plan, or submit music through DistriGoal.
